The goal was to summit 19,350 foot Mt. Kilimanjaro for my 60th Birthday and to make the descent accident free. It was Roger's multi disciplinarily regimen, as well as the weekend junkets to local hills, summer Colorado and Mt. Whitney day trips that ensured my success on Kilimanjaro. With Roger as my Trainer, be it cycling, hiking, or weight and strength training, I have acquired the confidence to challenge myself and achieve goals I'd never dreamed possible. I have known Roger Johnson for 15 years. I have worked with him most of that time. February 2014 while in the hospital, after recovery from a week long coma, I called him to see if could start a training program for me to recover. I was in bed for three weeks, and all my muscles had atrophied. Now after training 3-4 times a week for the last 5 months, I am almost back to normal, thanks to Roger. After I am totally recovered, I will continue my program with him at The Trainer Connection-What a wonderful place to train!
